The Great Story Swap YQG

The power of storytelling runs deep in our lives. From the stories we consume in books and film to the lore we’ve passed down through generations. In the words of Margaret Atwood, “In the end, we all become stories,” we’re here to ask the question, why do we have to wait till the end to know our own?

Join us on February 21st for an event to spark creativity and create connections. Pairs are encouraged to sign up (you can also come solo and be matched with a partner at the event) and be randomly assigned another pair. Your mission is to craft a story, a saga, or a fable that unveils the depths of your assigned pair’s connection. What brings them together? What adventures have they shared? Let your imagination guide you through the story prompts provided at each table.

Pairs will then swap their stories with the people they were assigned to write about. This exercise allows attendees to hone their storytelling skills, find beauty in every person, and know the elements that make you stand out in the eyes of a complete stranger.

This event is a celebration of creativity and an opportunity to connect on a level beyond words. Whether you are a seasoned writer, an aspiring artist, someone looking to connect with like-minded people, or just looking for a new experience, The Great Story Swap welcomes all.
