Breaking the Ice: Mary Ann Shadd Cary Bicentennial Celebration

Breaking the Ice features talents from Jane Rhodes and Leslie McCurdy. Two authors who are fitting to celebrate Mary Ann Shadd as a person of national historical significance in Canada and the U.S., given that Leslie is Canadian and Jane Rhodes is a special guest from the United States. Breaking the Ice will take place in the Performance Hall at the University of Windsor’s School of Creative Arts, Armouries Building, downtown Windsor. The event is from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Books by our talented authors will be for sale and available for signings in the Concourse before and after the event.
Tickets will be on sale at the door and online in advance.
